Ownership Rights: With retirement life right accommodation, you can enjoy the benefits of ownership without the responsibilities of property maintenance, giving you the freedom to focus on living life to the fullest. Our Life Right accommodation is ratioed on a 70/30 split. There is no transfer in property but the reliance on a well-maintained unit is worth the stress of having to solve, sometimes complex and unbudgeted maintenance works which could seriously impede the financial stability of your retirement. When a unit is resold to a new resident the previous Life Right owner is returned 70% of the new evaluated selling price. So, if for example Mr. X bought his unit in 2014 for R200,000 and he passes on or decides to move back to his family, the unit is re-evaluated. If the unit sells for R800,000 in 2024 then Mr. X will receive 70% of R800,000.
